Statement Issued by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of The Syrian Arab Republic

Damascus, March 7, 2026 – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic expresses its strong condemnation of the Iranian attack targeting buildings in the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain,

which housed elements of the Qatari Emiri Naval Forces participating in the Unified Maritime Operations Center of the Unified Military Command of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf. The Ministry considers this attack a blatant violation of the Kingdom's sovereignty and a threat to its security and stability.

The Syrian Arab Republic affirms its full solidarity with the sisterly Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Qatar, and its support for them in confronting any aggression that infringes upon their sovereignty or threatens their security.

The Syrian Arab Republic also reiterates its categorical rejection of any acts of aggression aimed at destabilizing the region, and calls for respect for the sovereignty of states in a manner that contributes to strengthening regional security and stability.
