The Syrian Arab Republic Welcomes the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council's Invitation to a Dialogue Conference in Riyadh

Damascus, January 3, 2026 – The Syrian Arab Republic welcomes the Yemeni Presidential Leadership Council's invitation to hold a comprehensive Yemeni dialogue conference in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, considering it an important step towards prioritizing dialogue.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates appreciates the role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in sponsoring this dialogue and supporting efforts aimed at bringing the Yemeni parties together at the negotiating table, in order to achieve the aspirations of the Yemeni people for peace and stability.

The Syrian Arab Republic emphasizes that a comprehensive political solution, based on dialogue among the Yemenis themselves, is the only way to end the crisis, preserve state institutions, and safeguard the unity of Yemeni territory.
