Foreign Minister Al-Shaibani Discusses UN Cooperation with ESCWA Chief

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, met with Rola Dashti, the UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Secretary of the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA). The meeting aimed to review prospects for joint cooperation between the Syrian Arab Republic and the Commission.

During the meeting, the Minister reviewed with Ms. Dashti the UN's efforts to support development and reconstruction plans in Syria. The Minister reaffirmed the Syrian government's commitment to enhancing its partnership with the UN organizations.
