Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani received Bartjan Wegter, head of the European Union Counter-Terrorism Unit delegation, in Damascus.

During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance cooperation between the Syrian Arab Republic and the European Union in combating terrorism and addressing shared security challenges.
