President al-Sharaa Meets with Ms. Kristalina Georgieva, Managing Director of the IMF, at The IMF Headquarters in Washington

President Ahmed al-Sharaa met today at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) headquarters in Washington with Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva, in the presence of Foreign Minister Asaad al-Shaibani.

During the meeting, they discussed potential areas of cooperation between Syria and the IMF to contribute to strengthening the development process and supporting efforts to improve the economic situation.
