We thank the Kingdom of Bahrain for its warm welcome and its keenness to have Syria participate in this prestigious summit, and for its support of the political transition we are experiencing today.

Syria today is a regional and international partner in combating terrorism and drugs, and plays an active role in maintaining regional security.

We liberated ourselves from the Assad regime in December 2024 after decades of injustice and tyranny, and we began the journey of rebuilding Syria into a state of peace, not a platform for threats.

We want Syria to be equidistant from all, not aligned with one axis against another, but rather a bridge for cooperation, openness, and the promotion of peace.

The former regime turned Syria into a drug-producing state, exporting Captagon, which funded its killing machine and harmed the region from Saudi Arabia to Europe.

We concluded the parliamentary elections with transparency, popular participation, and local and international monitoring, and we await the convening of the first session representing the voice of the Syrian people in November.

Our vision for liberation was comprehensive: liberating the Syrian people, correcting our country's image, and empowering citizens to thrive in their homeland as they do abroad.

We established two national commissions—one for the missing persons and the other for transitional justice—to ensure the truth is revealed and justice is served without revenge or chaos.

In just eleven months, we achieved nearly 90% of our goals: national dialogue, an inclusive government, parliamentary elections, and a constitutional declaration.

Our vision for the future of Syria: a free and independent country, free from foreign interference, posing no threat to anyone, but rather a source of cooperation and stability in the region.

During this transitional phase, we relied on three principles: security and stability; balanced diplomacy; the rule of law and equal citizenship.

We extend our hand to our friends and allies in the region to be partners in building the new Syria, for its stability is beneficial to the entire region.
