Issuance of power of attorney at the diplomatic missions

This service enables citizens to issue power of attorney at the diplomatic mission for use within the Syrian Arab Republic

The validity period of power of attorney for acceptance and certification by the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates: One year from the date of issuance of the power of attorney at our missions abroad
After certification by the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it must be filed with the notary public as soon as possible

A copy of the authorized person's ID card or a copy of valid passport
If the power of attorney is a special real estate power of attorney, a real estate registration certificate issued in Syria and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, not older than 3 months, is required
If the power of attorney is a special marriage power of attorney, a copy of the spouse's ID card is required
If the power of attorney is a special vehicle power of attorney, a vehicle registration certificate issued in Syria and certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, not older than 3 months, is required
For a power of attorney related to managing company affairs, a company registration certificate, not older than 3 months, is required
For a power of attorney related to matters of minors, a legal guardianship certificate from the Sharia court, not older than 3 months, is required
For a power of attorney related to matters concerning an incapacitated person, a legal guardianship certificate issued by the sharia court, not older than 3 months, is required
