This service enables Syrian citizens and those in their equivalent status to use a travel document (Laissez-passer) to travel to Syria once without the need for a passport

Common questions

In case of passport loss, a police report regarding the loss or theft of the passport is required, along with a written request from the concerned individual explaining the circumstances of the loss or theft, or a written request explaining the citizen's special situation and their inability to carry a valid passport
Syrian document, such as a personal ID card, Civil registry extract with a photo, certified by the Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates or one of its consular offices in the provinces, with the issuance date not exceeding 3 months, or a birth certificate from the host country for Syrian children born abroad

Terms and conditions

The presence of the concerned individuals is required. For minors, the father, paternal grandfather, or mother with a legal guardianship certificate or the father's consent must be present
The service is provided in the following cases:

Syrian citizens who have lost their passports during a visit for tourism or temporary work purposes.
Based on a request from the relevant authorities in the host country for the deportation of a citizen who does not possess a passport or travel document.
Based on the citizen's request in special cases where they do not have a valid passport or travel document and wish to return to Syria
