Syrian Foreign Minister Meets Chinese Ambassador to Discuss Bilateral Ties and Regional Developments

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mr. Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, received the Ambassador of China to Syria, Mr. Shi Hongwei, in Damascus.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed the regional and international developments of mutual concern; furthermore, they discussed bilateral ties and ways to strengthen them.

The Ambassador of China affirmed his country's commitment to supporting Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity, and to rejecting any form of external interference. He underlined the importance of continued coordination and consultation between the two nations.
