Syrian Leadership Meets U.S. Special Envoy on Regional Developments

His Excellency President Ahmad al-Sharaa of the Syrian Arab Republic, accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mr. Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, and the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Mr. Hussein al-Salama, held a meeting with the U.S. Special Envoy for Syria, Mr. Thomas Barrack.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum (ADF2026). During the meeting, the two sides reviewed regional developments and discussed avenues to strengthen cooperation between the two countries in a manner that enhances security, stability, and peace in the region.
