Syria and World Bank Discuss Expanded Cooperation on Economic Recovery and Reconstruction

Damascus – His Excellency President Ahmad al-Sharaa of the Syrian Arab Republic received Mr. Ousmane Dione, World Bank Vice President for the Middle East and North Africa, in the presence of Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Mrz. Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani.

The two sides discussed ways to expand development cooperation between the Syrian Arab Republic and the World Bank in order to best support Syria’s economic recovery plans, the rehabilitation and development of basic services, and post-war reconstruction.
