Signing of a cooperation agreement between the Syrian Diplomatic Institute and the Czech Diplomatic Academy in Prague
Prague, February 5, 2026 - Within the framework of strengthening academic and diplomatic cooperation relations and exchanging experiences in the field of diplomatic qualification and training, a cooperation agreement was signed today in the Czech capital, Prague, between the Diplomatic Institute in the Syrian Arab Republic and the Diplomatic Academy affiliated with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the Czech Republic.
The agreement was signed in the presence of the Director of the Syrian Diplomatic Institute, Mr. Yasser Al-Jundi, and the Director of the Czech Diplomatic Academy, Ms. Dana Kovarikova, in an atmosphere that reflected the common interest in developing institutional cooperation and strengthening the academic partnership between the two sides.
The agreement aims to support cooperation in the fields of diplomatic training and qualification, exchange academic experiences, and organize specialized programs and courses, in a way that contributes to developing approved curricula, building diplomatic capabilities, and keeping pace with the rapid changes and challenges in contemporary diplomatic work.
During the signing ceremony, the two sides stressed the importance of this step in consolidating bilateral cooperation and enhancing communication between diplomatic institutions, in a way that serves common interests and contributes to the exchange of best practices and professional expertise.
