Statement Issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic:

Damascus, September 12, 2025 - This morning, a humanitarian aid caravan consisting of (41) trucks loaded with food supplies, flour and medicines, provided by the sisterly State of Qatar and the sisterly Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, entered Syrian territory through the Nasib Border Crossing. The aid will be distributed to those affected by the recent tragic events in the city of Sweida and its countryside, in addition to the displaced in shelter centers within Daraa Governorate.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic expresses its deep gratitude and appreciation to the State of Qatar and the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for this fraternal initiative, which reflects the spirit of cooperation and solidarity among our brothers and affirms the depth of Arab ties in the face of difficult humanitarian circumstances.

This initiative comes as part of Arab support for the Syrian government's efforts to alleviate the suffering of Syrian citizens as part of the humanitarian response in southern Syria.
