Statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic

Damascus, September 9, 2025 - The Syrian Arab Republic expresses its strong condemnation of the Israeli aggression that targeted the Qatari capital, Doha, terrorizing innocent civilians and threatening the security and safety of the population.

Syria considers this attack a flagrant violation of international law and the sovereignty of the sisterly State of Qatar, and a dangerous escalation that could undermine security and stability in the region, reflecting the Israeli occupation's repeated disregard for international laws and norms.

While the Syrian Arab Republic affirms its full solidarity with the State of Qatar, its leadership, government, and people, it stresses the need for the international community to take a clear and firm stance against such aggressive practices that threaten regional and international peace.
