Statement Issued by The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of The Syrian Arab Republic

November 12, 2025 - The Syrian Arab Republic expresses its deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the government and people of the Republic of Turkey for the victims of the crash of the Turkish Ministry of Defense's military cargo plane, which occurred yesterday, Tuesday, on the Azerbaijani-Georgian border, and resulted in the death of twenty military personnel.

While Syria shares the pain and sorrow of the victims’ families, it expresses its solidarity with the Turkish people in this tragic event, wishing mercy for the victims and patience and solace for their families.
