Statement Issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Syrian Arab Republic:

Damascus, September 9, 2025 - The Syrian Arab Republic expresses its strong condemnation of the air aggression carried out by the Israeli occupation forces, targeting several sites in the Homs and Latakia governorates, in a flagrant violation of international law and the principles of the United Nations Charter.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirms that these attacks represent a flagrant violation of the sovereignty of the Syrian Arab Republic, a direct threat to its security and regional stability, and are part of a series of aggressive escalations pursued by Israel against Syrian territory.

While Syria categorically rejects any attempts to undermine its sovereignty or its national security, it calls on the international community, particularly the Security Council, to assume its legal and moral responsibilities and adopt a clear and firm stance that puts an end to these repeated attacks and ensures respect for Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
