Under The Auspices of MoFA, UN Delegation Visits Jobar Neighborhood to Assess Damage and Needs

Under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, and in the presence of the Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management, Mr. Raed Al-Saleh, a UN delegation headed by the Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Alexander De Croo, visited the Jobar neighborhood of Damascus to assess the extent of the damage and identify essential needs.

During the visit, the delegation emphasized the importance of supporting infrastructure and basic services, as well as the comprehensive recovery process, as part of the official visit of the UN delegation to Syria.
