The 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly kicks off in New York

New York – The 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) opened with the historic participation of His Excellency President Ahmad Al-Sharaa of the Syrian Arab Republic.
This marks the first time in decades that a Syrian President has taken part in the UNGA.
The President was accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mr. Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani.
