Damascus, May 8, 2026 – The Syrian Arab Republic condemns in the strongest terms the Iranian attacks using drones and ballistic missiles on the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Such attacks resulted in injuries among civilians; thus, the attacks are a severe violation of the UAE's sovereignty, the principles of international law, and the UN Charter.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates in the Syrian Arab Republic reaffirms its stance with the UAE and supports UAE procedures to protect and secure its stability and sovereignty.
