Foreign Minister Al-Shaibani Meets Baroness Nicholson to Discuss Strengthening Syrian-British Economic Cooperation and Strategic Partnership

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mr. Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, received in Damascus Baroness Nicholson of Winterbourne, Member of the House of Lords and head of the British business delegation.

During the meeting, both sides reviewed avenues for strengthening bilateral economic relations. They also discussed opening new horizons of cooperation in the fields of investment and reconstruction, and emphasized the importance of building a sustainable strategic partnership in a manner that serves the interests of the Syrian people.
