Director of Department of International Organizations and Conferences at MoFA Meets with Under-Secretary-General of UN for Safety and Security

The Director of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mr. Saad Baroud, met with the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Safety and Security, Mr. Gilles Michaud.

The two sides discussed the current state of UN operations in the Syrian Arab Republic, measures to ensure the safety and security of UN personnel and facilities, and ways to enhance coordination to support the expansion of UN work in Syria.
