The Director of The Department of Afro-Asian and Oceanian Affairs at MoFA Meets with The Ambassador of The People's Republic of China, in Capital Damascus

The Director of the Department of Afro-Asian and Oceanian Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mr. Ashhad Al-Salibi, met in Damascus with the Ambassador of the People's Republic of China, Mr. Shi Hongwei. The two sides discussed prospects for strengthening cooperation between their countries in various fields.

The Ambassador welcomed the recent agreement between the Syrian government and the Syrian Democratic Forces, affirming his country's support for Syria's unity, sovereignty, and independent national decision-making. He stressed the importance of maintaining stability and advancing the Syrian-led political process.
