The Syrian Technical Delegation Meets with Member of the Presidential Council of Libya

The Syrian Technical Delegation met with Mr. Abdullah al-Lafi, Member of the Presidential Council of the sisterly State of Libya.

During the meeting, Mr. al-Lafi affirmed Libya’s support for the Syrian Arab Republic and its commitment to Syria’s unity and full sovereignty over its entire territory. He also expressed Libya’s readiness to contribute to supporting the Syrian economy.

Mr. al-Lafi further expressed his hope for the reactivation of bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries, beginning with the reopening of the Syrian Embassy in the Libyan capital, Tripoli.
