Foreign Minister Al-Shaibani Meets Kurdish National Council Delegation in Damascus

Foreign Minister and Expatriates, Mr. Assad Hassan al-Shaibani, received a delegation from the Kurdish National Council (KNC) led by Mr. Muhammad Ismail in the capital, Damascus.

The meeting focused on reaffirming the unity and territorial integrity of the Syrian state. During the discussions, the Minister emphasized the rights of Kurdish citizens in Syria, highlighting the advancement of equal citizenship while preserving their unique cultural and social identities within a unified Syria.

For its part, the delegation welcomed Presidential Decree No. 13, hailing it as a significant milestone toward the realization of Kurdish rights.
