In Damascus, Foreign Minister Al-Shaibani Receives UN Envoy Pedersen

Damascus - The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mr. Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, received the United Nations Special Envoy for Syria, Mr. Geir Otto Pedersen and his accompanying delegation.

The two side discussed the recent development in the region, reaffirming the respect of Syria's sovereignty and its territorial integrity. They also highlighted the importance of establishing the appropriate conditions for the return of refugees and improving the humanitarian situation.
