Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Receives Canadian Ambassador to Lebanon in Damascus

Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, received Ms. Stefanie McCollum, the Ambassador of Canada to Lebanon, in Damascus.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral relations and explored ways to enhance communication on issues of mutual interest. His Excellency the Minister emphasized the importance of respecting Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity, and reaffirmed the importance of establishing constructive dialogue based on shared interests and mutual respect.
