His Excellency the President of the Republic, Mr. Ahmad al-Shara, received a delegation from the Syrian American Council in Damascus, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mr. Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani.

His Excellency the President expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Syrian community in the United States for their sincere efforts in supporting national causes. He also commended the Syrian American Council's initiatives aimed at supporting efforts to lift sanctions on Syria and create a more open environment that contributes to reconstruction and development.
