President Al-Sharaa Meets U.S. Special Envoy in Damascus to Discuss Political and Security Developments

His Excellency President Ahmad Al-Sharaa of the Syrian Arab Republic met in Damascus with the U.S. Special Envoy to Syria, Mr. Thomas Barrack. The meeting was also attended by His Excellency Mr. Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates. The two sides held talks on recent political and security developments, as well as on ways to advance the political process in a manner that ensures respect for Syria’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
