President Al-Sharaa Receives German Foreign Minister in Damascus to Discuss Strengthening Bilateral Relations

H.E. President Ahmad Al-Sharaa received in Damascus a high-level delegation from the Federal Republic of Germany, headed by Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs Johann Wadephul, in the presence of the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mr. Asaad Hassan Al-Shaibani.

The discussions focused on bilateral relations between the Syrian Arab Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany and on ways to enhance cooperation in the political, economic, and humanitarian fields. The two sides also reviewed regional and international developments of mutual interest and emphasized the importance of diplomatic dialogue and direct communication in supporting regional stability and strengthening prospects for cooperation in a manner that serves the interests of both friendly nations.
