Syrian Delegation, Headed by Foreign Minister al-Shaibani, Meets with Members of US Congress

The Syrian delegation, headed by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Mr. Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, met with a number of members of the US Congress, headed by Senator Jeanne Shaheen, on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

During the meeting, the latest developments of the situation in Syria and the region were discussed, and the importance of preserving Syria’s unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity was emphasized, in addition to supporting the political track to achieve security and stability.
