Syrian Delegation, Headed by His Excellency Foreign Minister al-Shaibani, Meets with US Secretary of State, Mr. Marco Rubio

The Syrian delegation, headed by His Excellency Foreign Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, met with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.

During the meeting, they discussed key local and regional developments, emphasizing the unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity of the Syrian Arab Republic.

The US side affirmed its support for the Syrian government, the recent integration agreement with the Syrian Democratic Forces, and the Syrian government's efforts in combating ISIS. The meeting also addressed bilateral relations between the two countries and ways to develop them in various fields.
