Announcement on the Commencement of Issuing Laissez-Passer Documents for Syrian Citizens in Libya Wishing to Return to Syria

The technical delegation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announces the commencement of issuing laissez-passer documents to Syrian citizens in Libya who wish to return to the Syrian Arab Republic, starting from Thursday, October 23, 2025, for a period of three days, from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.

Requirements for Obtaining the Laissez-Passer:

• Applicants are kindly requested to bring a personal identification document (passport, national ID card, registration record, family book, or birth certificate) along with two recent personal photographs.

• The presence of the applicant or a first-degree relative is required.

• For applicants under 18 years of age, the father’s presence is mandatory.
